Biography
Robert Earl Williams is a Mentor and Advisor to most who know him. Mr. Williams is highly motivated, self-starter with ability to adapt easily to change of environment and
work schedule. Mr. Williams has extensive work experience in corporate America and as an
entrepreneur that spans over 40 years.
He is a native of North Carolina. Mr. Williams career began in 1970 with Western Electric in Manhattan, New York; later known as AT&T. As a committed and dedicated leader to the organizational Vision, Mission and Goals, he had a desire to produce the best quality work that led to advancement within the organization.
Mr. Williams transferred from New York to Greensboro, North Carolina and after several years of employment, he transferred to Alpharetta, Georgia in Data Processing where he later retired in 2003 after 33 years with the company.
As an entrepreneur, Mr. Williams started his own landscape business which he managed and operated for ten years. He has a passion for helping others. With a humble Spirit and a Servant Heart, he continues to give freely his time and resources to be a positive influence in the lives of others.
Mr. Williams is a member of First Nazareth Baptist Church in Columbia, South Carolina where he serves diligently in the Deacon Ministry and volunteers at the Church food pantry. His professional and community affiliations include: A chartered member of the X. L. Neal Lodge #588, Free & Accepted Masons, Prince Hall Affiliation (GA), and serves as a Poll Manager at Blythewood 2 Precinct. In his spare time, he enjoys walking, traveling, gardening and football.
He is married to Shirley Haglar Williams and they reside in South Carolina.
