Biography
Belindia Taylor is currently a High Touch Operations Manager at Cisco, the
worldwide leader of networking for the Internet. Belindia has managed
Enterprise and Service Provider networks and relationships for the last 20 years. In
addition, Belindia holds important stretch assignment roles within Cisco, which
are HBCU/Education Lead for RTP Cisco Connected Black Professionals, Cisco
Global Co-Lead for Adult Caregivers.
During her 30-year tenure in telecommunications, Belindia has held positions for
other Fortune 500 Companies, including Network Provisioning Engineer for AT&T
and Senior Technical Instructor for Nortel Networks and a former Human
Resources Development Instructor for Wake Technical Community College.
During her career, Belindia has earned several industries recognized professional
development certifications and leadership awards. Belindia is a member of,
NSBE (National Society Black Engineers Professionals, and a member of the Delta
Sigma Theta, Sorority Inc. and a member of the Core Leads for Black Girls Code
Raleigh-Durham Chapter.
She is a 1993 graduate from Saint Augustine’s University, where she acquired her
Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and a staunch advocate
for STEM learning. While climbing the corporate ladder and striving to shatter any
glass ceilings, Mrs. Belindia Taylor has held true to her career advice for all, “It’s
not who you know but instead who knows what you KNOW, because victory Loves
